Gazzetta dell Sport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan have reached an agreement for promising Belgium winger Alexis Saelemaekers from Anderlecht. The right midfielder is an important piece for Milan after the departure of Suso to Sevilla especially in a 4-4-2. Saelemaekers is quite versatile and can play as a right midfielder, right winger or central attacking midfielder making his tactical flexibility a trick up Milan's sleeve. The 20 year old will reportedly join on a paid loan worth 3.5 million euros with an obligation to buy for a further 3.5 million euros. There may be bonuses of about 1 million euros in the operation.

The Belgian youth international has featured 19 times in all competitions for Anderlecht this season where he has scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists. He has been a regular starter for the past two seasons and is ripe for a breakout season. He will act as a cover for Samu Castillejo for the rest of the season and is expected to undertake his medicals today.
