Sky Italia via MilanEye reported that the players will wear black armbands as a show of respect but this move was not authorised by the Lega Serie A. The report also indicates that the Milan players will wear the armbands nonetheless and pay the corresponding fine. Kobe was a Milanista who often spoke of his love for the red and black colours. He visited Milanello in July 2013 to see the facility and spoke fondly of his time in Italy where his father was a professional basketball player. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Vanessa and their family at this trying time.
Rest in Peace Kobe, from Rossoneri everywhere!
