Today is a sad day for the Rossoneri and for the sporting world. A legend of the NBA and one of the greatest sportsmen of all time, Kobe Bryant, has tragically passed away this morning in a fatal helicopter crash. We at the AC Milan Offside would like to send our sincere prayers and condolences to the family of the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. Our thoughts go out to all those affected by his passing and are grateful to have been able to witness his greatness. Kobe was a huge AC Milan fan who famously joked, “I’ve always said if you cut off my left arm it’ll bleed black and red and if you cut off my right arm it’ll bleed yellow and purple.”

Kobe was a husband to Vanessa and a father to Natalia, Bianka, Gianna and Capri. He will always be remembered for his unbelievable feats for the LA Lakers where he scored a staggering 33,643 points and won 5 NBA championships. He was the MVP of the 2008 season and was the MVP in the Finals of 2009 and 2010. Bryant also won 2 Gold medals with the American national basketball team at the Summer Olympics in 2008 and 2012.

Rest in Peace, from Rossoneri everywhere!
