AC Milan's Young Centre Back On The Verge Of Joining Parma On Loan

AC Milan's young centre back Matteo Gabbia is being approached by numerous clubs to leave on a loan deal. The defender has most recently been approahced by Parma and Calcio Mercato are reporting that the transfer could go through. The club hoped for a loan with an option to buy but Milan will likely look to negotiate down to a dry loan.

Matteo Gabbia and his agent were recorded at Casa Milan yesterday and Football Italia reported that he has accepted the move. The 20 year old has not played regular football since his loan spell at Lucchese in the 2018/19 season. It still remains to be seen if Milan will further reduce their depth at CB by allowing the young defender to leave. Gianluca di Marzio in contrast is reporting that Milan do not want to let the player leave as they are happy with his development and want to renew his contract.
