Enzo Raiola has revealed via ilMilanista.it that Giacomo Bonaventura will not renew his contract with AC Milan at the end of the the season. The cousin and colleague of Mino Raiola revealed that unless there are exceptional changes to the situation at hand the veteran Italy midfielder will not remain in Milan past June. The club does not seem to have reached a decision on whether or not to renew the player and there are doubts over his performance post-injury as he has been out for about a year and has not looked convincing since his return.

Multiple outlets such as Calcio Mercato have noted that Fiorentina are heavily interested in the midfielder. The would welcome the the versatile player as they look to bring in players with experience and players who can win their fans hearts. The Viola recently acquired former Milan youth product Patrick Cutrone from Wolverhampton and the youngster has already impressed in his first few games in Florence.
