AC Milan Women pulled off a miraculous comeback victory against AS Roma Women earlier today courtesy of new signing Berglind Björg Thorvaldsdottir. The Iceland international scored a brilliant second half brace barely two hours after she was announced as part of the Rossonere. South Africa international Refiloe Jane also managed to score a banger for the equalising goal in the tough comeback win.

The 28 year old has joined Milan from Breiðablik and has previously played in Italy for Verona and in the Netherlands for PSV. She will be the Rossonere's new no. 10 and has already gotten off to a flying start. Alongside Thor, new signing Pamela Begic also started the game that closes the gap between Milan and the top three.
