AC Milan came up with with a gutsy victory against Udinese at the San Siro to kick off the second half of the season. Milan fell behind to an early goal from a Donnarumma error but fought back in the second half after the introduction of Ante Rebic. The Croatia international on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt put on a stunning display scoring the first equaliser and scoring the winner in extra time.

Theo Hernandez also found the back of the net bringing up his league tally to 5 with an amazing volley from a corner. Milan dug deep to ensure they did not throw away the opportunity to finally rise in the standings. Milan now sit in 7th place, 2 points off the Europa League and 10 points off the Champions League spots.
