Pietro Balzano Prota of Radio Rossonera has apparently confirmed with a reliable outlet in Croatia that AC Milan are one step away from signing Spain's youth sensation Dani Olmo who was in the team of the tournament and the MOTM in the final at the U-21 Euros where his nation lifted the trophy. Olmo plays for Dinamo Zagreb and has been linked to the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona in recent weeks.

The report where Radio Rossonera interview journalist Nikola Lipovac states that Dinamo Zagreb have accepted an offer of abour 20-25 million from Milan with bonuses that could increase the deal to 30 million for the midfielder. The player and his father are expected to give their response to the proposed move soon as they do not want to renew with Zagreb and his contract runs out in 2021. The journalist says that he discovered the agreement between the clubs and notes that the move is highly probable at this point as Olmo would look to move to either Germany or Italy to further develop ahead of the Euro 2020. The report has been denied by Milan but the news broke regardless as Zvonimir Boban is reported to be working on it.
