AC Milan left back Ricardo Rodriguez has finally chosen his new team after weeks of indecision and a late charge by PSV Eindhoven for his signature. The Switzerland international has chosen to play in Turkey for Fenebahce for the rest of the season as he will join the outfit on a one year loan with an obligation to buy set as a measly 5 million euros. The confirmation came from Gianluca di Marzio amongst others and the report claims he chose to got to Turkey over the Netherlands as he was offered a higher wage there.

Rodriguez becomes the fourth exit from Milan in the January transfer window as Maldini and Boban look to slim the wage bill tremendously. Rodriguez was receiving 2.1 million per year and had a contract until 2021 but only played 5 games this season. Milan are allowing him to leave cheap despite there being room to have negotiated for a higher buyout clause but the priority seems to be reducing the wage bill before the summer. Rodriguez will leave Milan after two and a half seasons where he managed to play 74 league games, scoring 3 times in all competitions and providing 6 assists in all competitions.
