Giampaolo and Paqueta exchanged some jibes over the past week over the manager's comments on the midfielder being 'too Brazilian’ resulting in a response by the 22-year old on instagram. The club did not fine Paqueta but he is unsurprisingly not in the line-up being replaced by Ante Rebic. Biglia is once again chosen over Bennacer as the regista while Conti gets the nod in the absence of Calabria through suspension.

Gianluca di Marzio quoted Bennacer praising Lucas Biglia for his experience and he says he understands that it will take time to establish himself as the starter. Giampaolo looks to be playing it safe again and sticking with the more experienced players rather than integrating Milan's new signings. Let's hope for a result.
