Gigio Donnarumma reportedly wants to stay at Milan, even going so far as telling his agent and the club that he doesn’t want a move to PSG.

There are two ways to look at this: 1) He’s being honest and he’s trying to squash the speculation about him wanting to go elsewhere for a payday at PSG, showing his loyalty to the club. Or 2) This is all a ruse designed to make Maldini, Boban, and Massara all the “bad guys” who sell him to PSG just to raise money.

It’s always odd to see stories that claim a player has told his team and his agent that he “wants to stay” because if the player and the club aren’t considering transferring him already, then it’s not really news, right?

A cynical person might say all of this is just trying to get Donnarumma sold to PSG with Milan looking like they “forced” him to go.

On to the links.
