AC Milan are reportedly interested in landing yet another Real Madrid player in the summer transfer window. This time around, Milan are linked with Mariano Diaz. Diaz made a huge impression during the 2017-18 season while at Lyon, scoring 21 goals in all competitions, but he only managed to score four goals in nineteen appearances.

The 25 year-old former Dominican Republic international Diaz reportedly has other clubs interested in signing him as well, as the report names both AS Roma and Tottenham Hotspur as possible destinations for the striker. Both of those clubs are also reportedly willing to pay cash for the player, while Milan are looking to do a loan deal to comply with FFP regulations.

If Milan are looking into landing another striker, then one of Andre Silva or Patrick Cutrone will probably be off in the transfer window. Milan do need to keep at least three strikers on roster for depth reasons, but it’s unlikely that the club would be looking to keep four expensive strikers and Krzysztof Piatek isn’t going anywhere.
