Another day, another transfer rumor involving AC Milan. This time, 19 year-old United States international forward Timothy Weah is the player linked. Weah is rumored to be wanted on either a permanent deal or a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
Weah is the son of former Milan player George Weah, and he is currently on the books of PSG, although he did spent part of last year on loan at Celtic FC in Scotland.

Milan being interested in a teenage forward with eight senior international caps, and a goal, would be the kind of move that the club is supposedly going for, as the club is looking to develop younger players into stars, rather than splashing the cash for established players. Of course, some of them might have to be sold with this model, but it’s still better than spending money on players who never live up to the hype, right?
Weah had a decent loan spell at Celtic, getting three goals in eleven appearances for the Glasgow based-club, but he probably needs to prove himself in a bigger league before the comparisons with his legendary father. His name does give him a burden of sorts, and playing at one of the clubs that his dad was a star at might be problematic for him. However, if he is even half as good as his father, it would be a brilliant signing for Milan.
