AC Milan are reportedly interested in landing Macedonia international midfielder Eljif Elmas from Fenerbahce. The teenager is attracting interest from across Europe, with teams such as Napoli, Inter Milan, Fiorentina, Borussia Dortmund, and Atlético Madrid.

The 19 year-old made his debut for Fenerbahce back in 2017, but he’s already made an impression, winning 11 caps for Macedonia and scoring two goals. He made 40 appearances for the Istanbul club last season, scoring four goals.

Milan are rumored to be quietly negotiating to land the midfielder, but with so many clubs linked to the midfielder, the bidding will likely start to get expensive and Milan might be priced out of a move rather quickly unless some current players are sold.

Milan have been rumored with a few different midfielders already this season, and while they’ve already raided relegated Empoli for some depth, a young talent such as Elmas might fit the “new” model of business under Gazidis. Of course, this could also be more agent talk trying to get Elmas a better deal elsewhere. We’ll see in due time.
