Gennaro Gattuso spoke to Millan TV after the match and had some words to say about the game, finishing fourth, and Donnarumma’s penalty save.

Gattuso said:

This Frosinone game reflected our whole season. We had to suffer and there were ups and downs. We needed a penalty to wake up. Gigio’s save symbolises our whole season. He was born with real quality, now he has to keep it up because Champions League experience is the only thing he lacks. He should do well there as well, the whole world of football will talk about him.

“Needed a penalty to wake up?!??!?”

Last year, Gattuso had the Rossoneri ready to run through walls and now they need to give up a penalty to wake up? Seriously?

Whatever.
