One of the biggest talking points after the Juventus match from this weekend was the refereeing decisions that took place. Almost everyone with a Milan perspective was fairly angry about the decisions that were made.

It’s being reported that the President of the Italian Football Referees Association is set to meet with Gennaro Gattuso and “apologize” for the refereeing during the Juve match.

So what.

He can apologize all he wants, but honestly, if results aren’t being overturned or the ref from Saturday’s match isn’t penalized, then who cares? The damage is done. Apologizing for it matters not, so whatever. Dodgy refereeing needs real penalties, not a “sorry” after the fact.

On to the links.
