Mattia Caldara was one of the big acquisitions of the summer for Milan, as he was part of the big-money deal that saw Leonardo Bonucci return to Juventus and Gonzalo Higuain come to the San Siro on loan. He’s been out almost the entire year with injury, although he did get an appearance against Dudelange in the Europa League.

He’s been fit for a few weeks now, and it’s now being reported that he’s set for his first Serie A start of the season this weekend against Lazio.
It would be nice to see him finally take the pitch in Milan colors, but really, against Lazio?
Perhaps this will all work out.
