Rossoneri Round-up for 8 March: Suso’s reported contract negotiations come a bad time

Oh great, just what Milan need right now, more distractions.

It’s being reported that Suso and his camp are a million a season apart from where Milan are in terms of salary for a contract extension. Could Suso have brought this up at a worse time? The team looked just fine without him the other day, and Suso’s contribution to the team has been diminished greatly since Lucas Paquetà joined the club. This isn’t the time to be protesting, in my opinion, because it is pretty easy to see what a Suso-less Milan could look like right now, and if Suso pushes too far, then he could be on his way.

Suso has been linked with a move away from Milan before, so it’s not a huge stretch to see a demand for him, but this isn’t the right way to go about it. We’ll see what happens.

On to the links.
