Oh no. The fall-out from Franck Kessie’s altercation with Lucas Biglia on the sideline during the Derby della Madonnina against Inter Milan two weeks ago seems to be getting uglier.
Kessie was reportedly fined €40,000 by AC Milan for his role in the clash on sideline, where it appeared that he and Biglia got into a fist-fight. And while both came out afterwards and apologized, it seems that everything isn’t alright yet.

In addition to the fine, Kessie was reportedly set to meet and clear the air with both Leonardo and Gennaro Gattuso at Milanello, however, Kessie reportedly did not meet with Gattuso after all.
Now, it’s rumored that Kessie is set to miss the Sampdoria match this weekend as punishment for the altercation, but could the lack of meeting between Gattuso and Kessie be a sign of more disagreements?
Gatuso is always one who wears his heart on his sleeve, so a lack of a meeting between the boss and Kessie could mean one of two things: Either Gattuso considers the matter settled or that he’s still angry at Kessie and doesn’t want him in the team. And to be honest, we probably won’t know that until at least the match against Udinese on April 2nd.
If Kessie misses the Udinese match, then we can probably guess that Gattuso is still upset with Kessie. However, if Kessie is back in the starting lineup, then Kessie will have done his penance and is back in the good graces of Gattuso,
If the situation is allow to fester, then it could distract the club as it heads towards Champions League qualification. Hopefully what ever conflict that exists between Kessie and Biglia is resolved or at least contained until the summer, and that everyone has made their peace with Gattuso and it doesn’t end up derailing all of the progress that has been made this season.
