Gigio Donnarumma and Alessio Romagnoli both got call-ups to the Italy national team, Davide Calabria and Patrick Cutrone got called up for the U21 team, and Primavera player Alessandro Plizzari got called up for the Italy U20s as well.
Diego Laxalt got called-up by Uruguay, Lucas Paquetà by Brazil, Franck Kessie by Côte d’Ivoire, Ricardo Rodriguez by Switzerland, Krzysztof Piatek by Poland, and Hakan Calhanoglu by Turkey.
