Milan lost the Derby to Inter, but it seems like the dust-up between Lucas Biglia and Franck Kessie is all anyone wants to talk about right now.
Biglia was quoted as saying:
Franck knows what I said and we clarified the situation afterwards. We all want to win, but this is not something we should do in front of everyone. Maybe save it for the dressing room.
We above all feel bad for this embarrassing scene, I feel ashamed of it and apologised to the lads and Coach in person. It was not what we wanted, we embarrassed the club we represent and it won’t happen again.
And Kessie was quoted as saying:
It was the adrenaline of the match situation, I was frustrated coming off and really wanted to do more. I took it out on Lucas and it was a mistake, I apologised afterwards.
He is older than me and I should learn from him. I’m sorry
Everyone is sorry, but will this turn into a thing? The best part of having Gennaro Gattuso as a coach is the passion that he instills in his players, and a huge dressing room conflict risks everything falling apart if instead of focusing on the next match, everyone is at loggerheads in the room.
Gattuso needs to fix this, and quick, if Milan are to hang onto a Champions League spot. The international break is the perfect time to sort everything out, and here’s hoping everything gets sorted.
