It turns out Milan might have pulled one over on one of the biggest clubs in the world. According to a former manager of Krzysztof Piatek, Milan weren’t the only club interested in signing the former Genoa striker during the January transfer window.

I think that directors of Real Madrid are regretting that directors of Real Madrid didn’t push to sign him in January. They seriously thought about signing him, but AC Milan wanted him more more.
Now, whatever “interest” Real Madrid had in Piatek may not have been very solid, but hey, it’s nice to think that Piatek wanted to come to Milan over any other destination, right? So far, so good.
