MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan could feature either Mattia Gabbia or Mattia Caldara against Atalanta as the centre-back partner for Alessio Romagnoli after Matteo Musacchio picked up a minor injury in training. The former Argentina international is still included in Milan’s 23 man squad but it is unclear if he will feature as he is not fully fit.

Stefano Pioli tested out both Gabbia and Caldara alongside Romagnoli in the training session on Saturday as a precaution. Caldara has recently been playing with the Primavera building up his fitness while Gabbia has been a reserve player for the first team this season. New signing Leo Duarte still remains out with a major injury sustained earlier this season. Milan are reportedly pursuing reinforcements at CB primarily targeting Barcelona’s Todibo.
