According to Sempre Milan, AC Milan utility man Fabio Borini is heading for a January exit as he has fallen almost entirely out of favour under new manager Stefano Pioli. The midfielder was a regular rotation player under Gennaro Gattuso but has not been able to recapture this role this season.

The midfielder’s agent Roberto de Fanti provided an update on the situation of the midfielder claiming that they will look for a move away from the San Siro in the upcoming transfer window. The agent went on to cite interest from England and Italy for the former Liverpool striker. Milan are aggressively looking to trim their wage bill and to free up resources to target more first team quality players. Borini has only features for 70 minutes this season and thus looks likely to look for greener pastures elsewhere.
