AC Milan Primavera took on Entella at Vismara today and the youth players roared their way to a huge win. The Rossoneri won 5-2 as Pecorino scored a brace within the first 30 minutes. Capanni also managed to score two goals, one in each half as Milan extended their lead on the top of the table to four points. Daniel Maldini stood out as the no. 10 of the Primavera scoring a goal from the penalty spot but his assist was much more noteworthy as he managed the softest of touches to backheel the ball into the path of Pecorino for the Rossoneri's third goal of the game. The attacking midfielder recently signed a contract with Milan extending his time with the first team and is looking to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather - both Milan legends.

There have been rumours recently suggesting that Maldini might be loaned out in the January transfer window to get some experience in Serie B, however, given that Milan Primavera have a shot at winning their title and Maldini's impact on the side, this would be a short sighted move by the management. The win makes it six in a row for Giunti's boys and they play their next game against Udinese to mark the halfway point in the season.

Also of note was the performance of first team player Mattia Caldara who managed to play the full 90 minutes with the Primavera side. The former Juventus defender has been playing a couple of games with the youth side to build up his fitness and to get him accustomed to the game again. Caldara looks likely to start to feature for Milan in the second half of the season.
