AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma won the Italy Golden Boy Award for 2019. Tuttosport released their final list today and Atlético Madrid's Joao Felix won the overall award. The Italy and Milan goalkeeper received 37 points for the top award and finished in 8th place as the top Italian and the second top Serie A player behind Juventus centre-back Matthis de Ligt.

AS Roma's Zaniolo also featured on the list a single point behind Donnarumma. Donnarumma has been honoured as the best young Italian for the second consecutive year. The goalkeeper has kept three clean sheets so far this season and has become the undisputed no. 1 for the national team.
