AC Milan faced off with Napoli at home as both sides struggled for form. Neither side looked decisive but both had their fair share of chances to steal the three points. Both goals were fairly close to each other as Milan's defence faltered to gift Lozano the opener while Bonaventura scored a classic hard shot from the edge of the box to equalise. The duo shared the spoils but the game looked like a step forward offensively for Milan.

Now let us look at the AC Milan player ratings!

STARTING LINE-UP

Gianluigi Donnarumma: Straightforward game for the shot stopper. He could not be held at fault for the goal at the defending was terrible but was solid otherwise. 7/10

Andrea Conti: Conti is looking better with each coming game. He looks dependable and seemed to understand his defensive role alongside the attacking one against Napoli. A good recovery of performances since his poor start. 6/10

Matteo Musacchio: Musacchio replaced the injured Duarte and played well enough. He looked a little sloppy when clearing the ball but his low score comes from the uneasy feel he brings to the defence. Everyone looked a little unorganised after his arrival. 5.5/10

Alessio Romagnoli: This wasn’t the best performance from Romagnoli. He looked uncomfortable and sloppy. His passes were terrible and he failed to coordinate the defence well enough to recover and stop the goal. 5/10

Theo Hernandez: Hernandez is such an attacking boost for Milan. His runs forward and his transition play is instrumental in launching the few attacks Milan manage. His key pass set up Krunic to assist Bonaventura's goal. 6/10

Rade Krunic: Krunic is looking sharp and seems to have permanently sidelined Kessie. His superior passing ability gives him an edge in the midfield and this compensates for his average defensive contribution. He bagged an assist by setting up the equaliser. 6.5/10

Lucas Biglia: Ismael Bennacer was missed. The Algeria international is urgently needed back to bring fluidity and pace to the midfield. Biglia made too many mistakes and struggled to string passes together. Moreover he looked tired and unable to keep up with the rest of the players on the pitch. 5/10

Lucas Paqueta: Paqueta was good again but is beginning to average out instead of hitting that great mark. He has the skill and creates the opportunities but he does not finish consistently enough. Good work navigating past Allan and Zielinski. 6.5/10

Jack Bonaventura: What a return for Jack. He scored a banger and announced his return from that long injury. He reinvigorated the wing and made everyone forget about Calhanoglu in just 90 minutes. He was quick, determined and resilient - a combo that has been missing from the wings. 7.5/10

Krzysztof Piatek: It is terrible to see the decline of Piatek. The warning signs were there since he arrived as he was always feeding of scraps however his confidence and his drive seem to have dipped thus exemplifying his struggles. Poor performance as he is having literally no impact of mantches anymore. 5/10

Ante Rebic: A surprise inclusion into the squad as Suso was pulled last minute. Rebic was animated and physical in his approach but picked up an injury very early on. Thereafter, it was tough to judge his performance as he was in visible pain and struggled to show his strength and pace. 5.5/10

SUBSTITUTES

Franck Kessie: Slow and shaky performance. Too many bad passes and too few piercing runs. He did not do himself any favours with that display. 4.5/10

Davide Calabria: Average cameo. He slotted into the defence to allow Conti to drive higher up the pitch and did well to keep Napoli attackers at bay. Decent showing. 6/10

Rafael Leao: N/A
