Gianluca di Marzio is reporting via MilanNews.it that AC Milan have approached the agent of Olivier Giroud to discuss a possible transfer to Italy. The Chelsea striker is quite a journeyman and has played with Arsenal in England as well. Giroud is on of the all time top scorers for France and won the World Cup with Les Blues in 2018. Giroud has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge since the emergence of youngster Tammy Abraham this has only started once this season and scored a single goal in the league.

Milan are looking for an experienced striker in the January window and have been largely linked to Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the transfer window. The report stated that the Rossoneri will look to offer Giroud an 18 month contract if negotiations progress.
