AC Milan's star midfield signing Lucas Paqueta spoke to the press about his former manager Marco Giampaolo's methods and Stefano Pioli's approach. Here are his comments via Football Italia:
“I believe that with [Stefano] Pioli the team is more at ease. Before, someone was not in the right position or someone else in a position they didn’t like. If a player plays in a position they prefer then they play better, and this is happening now.”

"The win is very important. It will lift our spirits during this difficult time. It has been a difficult moment for all of us, but we are very happy for Suso. He is a great player and the goal will give us confidence.” pic.twitter.com/UKjAetPydL
“Pioli is more direct in asking us certain things, and this has made things better for us. When you receive too much information, you get a bit confused, but with him everything is clear.”
The Brazil international has a more advanced role under Pioli as a right attacking midfielder in a 3-2-2-3 formation. Paqueta missed two very good chances in the victory over SPAL as we discussed in our tactical review. Paqueta has one assist this season.
