Lucas Biglia is reportedly not being offered a new contract by AC Milan. The former Lazio midfielder joined Milan three seasons ago but has struggled to cement his spot in the starting XI on account of his numerous injuries and the presence of competing midfielders such as Tiemoue Bakayoko and Ismael Bennacer. The midfielder is one of the highest paid players at the club and Milan are looking to slim the wage bill under Ivan Gazidis.

The report from Calcio Mercato discusses Elliot's hesitance to extend the midfielder's contract as he has struggled to impress and will be turning 34 in January. The midfielder has a contract expiring in June 2020 and will likely leave the club for free then.
