Andrea Conti's agent spoke to the press via Calcio Mercato to say:
‘Juve game? He did very well, this surely helped him gain confidence. Interest? Over the summer, many clubs made offers for him. I am talking about Parma, Crystal Palace, Werder Bremen, SPAL and a couple other teams too. The interest was there but he wanted to stay at Milan. Position? He is a right-back, he needs to play in the correct position to have success...’.
We sacrificed the first 12 games of the season to the football spirit to get Andrea Conti back, fair trade imo pic.twitter.com/CgYpzuY7V8

Conti's agent seems to hit back at all the criticism the former Atalanta defender received in the opening weeks of the campaign after a solid display against Juventus. The wing back is competing with Milan Primavera product Davide Calabria for the starting spot at RB after nearly two years out with recurring injuries.
