AC Milan's ultras have fired shots at the club management labelling them as weak and failing. The fan group is quoted saying “Time’s up… you have to prove yourselves!” The frustration is stemming from the lack of direction of the club and the general inability for Milan to get any of their top choice players and managers. The ultras directly reflect on the pursuit and failure to sign Luciano Spalletti thereafter pursuing Stefano Pioli.

Milan fans are losing their patience with the management of the club by Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban under the Elliot fund. Some fans protested this at Casa Milan today while most showed their frustration online with the hashtag #PioliOut trending worldwide on Twitter. The management had initially thrown their weight behind Giampaolo in the summer and as recently as two weeks ago but have now turned their back on the former Sampdoria coach leading to questions being asked of their decision making.

Stefano Pioli who was previously managed Inter Milan, Fiorentina, Bologna and Lazio has a terrible record in Serie A with a win percentage of only 40.5% since the 2011/12 season. The new manager will be taking over a Milan side that sits in 13th place on the table with only nine points from seven games.
