MilanNews.it are reporting that Stefano Pioli will make four changes when AC Milan take on SPAL this Thursday. Milan were beaten by AS Roma last weekend and put on an uninspired performance. Pioli is expected to take this chance to rotate a number of players and try to exploit the talent on the bench. SPAL are currently in the relegation zone with only seven points thus far to Milan's ten. This is an important opportunity for the side to pick up three points.

The first change is expected to be Leo Duarte for Andrea Conti at right back, this will allow Milan to effectively switch to the in game 3-2-2-3 formation while remaining defensively solid. The second change will be Ismael Bennacer taking over from Lucas Biglia from the start, this will allow more fluid passing and attacking moves from the midfield. The third change will be Samu Castillejo for Suso, this move is projected to to inject some pace and flair into the attack to shift away from Suso lazy performances. Lastly, Piatek is expected to replace Leao as the striker from the start to give the Portugal U-21 international a rest and some time to regain his composure.
