Stefano Pioli spoke to the press today via Sempre Milan and gave Suso a big vote of confidence despite the winger’s poor performances of late. The winger has played all eight league games for Milan this season and has registered a single assist in that time in a 1-0 victory over Brescia.

“Suso? We don’t take part in social media, we are a united group, we work to achieve important results, to be a team. When you attack a player, you attack me and above all Milan. We must be as positive as possible without hysteria,” Pioli stated.

Earlier this week Suso commented via Calcio Mercato, “I am proud to be part of this family.

“I am working hard to be able to give my best on the pitch for my fans and my club.”

Suso is expected to start the game as the right winger as usual against AS Roma and will hopefully put in a strong performance to get his season back on track.
