Sempre Milan are reporting that Andrea Conti will probably be loaned out in January after a string of poor performances in the start of the season. Davide Calabria has caught two unfortunate red cards in recent weeks creating an opportunity for the former Atalanta right wing back to impress but he failed to do so. Conti has been abysmal in the defensive phases of the game and has not been impactful in attack. Calcio Mercato reported that Conti was supposed to go out on loan as per Maldini's wishes with Parma very interested but the young Italy international chose to stay and fight for his place. Conti has played three matches for Milan this season, the full 90 minutes against Lecce and Inter Milan where Milan drew and lost respectively and he was directly responsible for at least one goal per game and nine minutes off the bench against Genoa.

Tuttosport via Calcio Mercato go a step further to identify three potential replacements: Tottenham Hotspur's Serge Aurier, Everton's Djibril Sidiber and LOSC Lille's Mehmet Zeki Celik. All three would be huge improvements over Conti as the former bring lots of experience while the latter is a huge prospect.
