AC Milan Hold Meeting With German Agency SPOCS To Discuss Three Potential January Transfers

Kabak, Elneny and Baba have been proposed to Milan as low cost reinforcements for the January window.

The main player under consideration was the young Turkey centre-back Ozan Kabak who AC Milan pursued over the summer but were turned down as the player chose to go to Schalke 04. He has only featured for 12 minutes this season and will be open to a move. Last week Calcio Mercato reported that Milan were preparing to go back in for the defender in January.

The second proposal is regarding former Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny who plays for Besiktas now. The Egypt international has only managed three appearances since his summer move and is not happy. The midfielder spent four seasons in London where he struggled to cement his spot in the starting eleven and is finding life hard in Turkey as well.

The last player to be discussed by the agent Sascha Empacher was Abdul Rahman Baba who is a left back who is on loan at Mallorca from Chelsea. The Ghana international has features twice this season for the Spanish side in La Liga and this represents a pattern in the wing backs career as he is part of Chelsea's infamous loan army. Baba has been out on loan at Schalke, Reims and now Mallorca season after season as he cannot break into the Chelsea squad but has been unable to make a real impact anywhere. He was considered a bright prospect when he featured for Chelsea in 205/16 and Augsburg in 2014/15.

Of the trio of players being reportedly pitched to Milan, only one could be a serious idea for the January window. Kabak is a very bright talent and would be a great depth addition to add to Milan's defence given the inconsistency of Musacchio, the injuries of Caldara and the naivety of Duarte. He has rejected Milan before which has fans turning their back on him but he can be a great centre-back given his amazing record with Turkey and Stuttgart.
