Manuel Locatelli - Sassuolo
Loan for €2m (Obligation to Buy at €10m)
Manuel Locatelli joined Sassuolo and almost immediately got thrown into a starting role, he has played 12 out of 19 Serie A games in the first half of the season. Locatelli has been a key prong in De Zerbi’s physical midfield where Locatelli has adopted the CDM role. He has played an important role as the distributor for the neroverdi averaging 51 passes per game with an accuracy rate of 90.4% and 2.4 key passes per game. Locatelli has been impactful for Sassuolo, he scored the an 80th minute winning goal in the Coppa Italia fourth round setting up a fixture against Napoli in the round of 16. Locatelli has developed immensely on loan and his passing looks sublime, he is very proactive in the midfield shutting plays down and making constant interceptions. He is having a fantastic run on loan.

Andre Silva - Sevilla
Loan for €4m (Option to Buy at €39m)
Andre Silva had an explosive start at Sevilla with his infamous debut hat-trick. The Portugese hitman scored a stunning 8 goals in 12 games to put Sevilla at the top of the table but has since hit a bit of a bump. Silva has been integral to Sevilla this season and the team declared that they would exercise their option to buy pretty early on in the season. Silva has been effective even since the goals dried up as he opens up space for Ben Yedder with fantastic movement off the ball and has constantly remained a threat. Moreover, he has registered 3 goals in 4 games for Portugal in the Nations League including the winner against Italy. The consistent time Silva is getting in Seville is helping his discover his FC Porto form and looks set for more goals in the second half of the season after he smashed the post in his first 2019 game against Atlético Madrid.

Gustavo Gomez - Palmeiras
Loan for €1.5m (Option to Buy at €4m)
Gustavo Gomez has been an absolute monster on loan and won the Brazilian League in his few months since Milan. Gomez was a dominating force in the heart of defence and immediately imposed himself upon Brazilian attackers delivering 10 clean sheets in the league out of the 13 games that he started in. Gomez helped Palmeiras keep a further 2 clean sheets out of 3 games in the Copa Libertadores. Gomez played his part up front as well scoring 3 goals in the process from the penalty spot and a corner. Gomez has been hailed as one of the best defenders in the league for the season despite playing only 14 games. Gomez is having a wonderful time at Palmeiras and will almost definitely be redeemed as he helped the team pick up their 10th Brasilerao Serie A title.
