It’s no secret that AC Milan are in the market for a winger, but despite all of the rumors, none have landed at Casa Milan to hold up a shirt and talk about how they’ve always loved the club and wanted to play in red & black since they were just a wee lad.

However, at least one deal looks like it could be done, albeit a bit differently than it had been originally proposed.

It’s now being reported that Milan is willing to take on Carrasco on loan until the end of the season on loan without an obligation to buy. The potential deals between Carrasco’s Chinese club, Dalian Yifang, and Arsenal or Inter Milan don’t appear that they will go through. Carrasco is rumored to want to leave China ASAP as his family are reportedly unhappy

Milan already missed out on a move to Waford FC’s Gerard Deulofeu as the English club reportedly had some rather unreasonable demands pertaining to the fee that they were looking to get for the former Everton and Barcelona winger.

Milan could grab Carrasco on loan and avoid a large transfer fee until the summer, and despite running the risk of someone nicking a deal for him in the summer transfer window due to some great performances, Milan could still end up on the better side of a deal. A loan is a relatively low-risk move for a player who skipped off to China to chase a paycheck, and if he does price himself out of a potential move to Milan, then Milan would have had trouble keeping him in the summer anyway.

This deal could and perhaps should happen, either way, it’s adding another winger to the lineup, something that Milan have been needing for some time now.
