Gennaro Gattuso spoke to Milan TV before today’s match against Napoli in the Coppa Italia. He spoke on a number of different topics, but perhaps the most interesting was the status of some of the injured Milan players. Gattuso said that Mattia Caldara and Lucas Biglia might be available to come back into the first team soon.

Gattuo said:

Caldara and Biglia worked partially with us yesterday and they’re both working on their physical conditions. I think that they’ll be ready in a week. We’re very happy with them. They have great desire to rejoin the team and they’ve demonstrated their commitment over the last few days.

Obviously having both Caldara and Biglia available would be great news for the club, as it will add to the depth at the club, and with Caldara coming back, we might actually get to see just how great he and Alessio Romagnoli can be while playing together at the back.
