Is anyone actually surprised by these kind of stories now?

It’s reported that Milan had to ask the government of China for help trying to untangle the web of financing that had allowed Li to purchase the club from Silvio Berlusconi.

Li’s entire time at Milan seemed to be one of financial shenanigans, from the unsustainable spending spree in the summer of 2017 to the inability to repay loans that eventually led to Elliott Management taking over the club last summer.

No story about the financing would surprise anyone at this point, right?

On to the links.
