Here is the transfer roundup, updating you with all the news linking the players in and out of AC Milan.

Ricardo Rodriguez

Rodriguez had an impressive season.

Rodriguez has been linked to a move abroad for some time now, with Arsenal and PSG being his main admirers. Since arriving at AC Milan for around €15 million, the Swiss international has established himself as one of the best full backs in Italy. Rodriguez has attracted Elite clubs in Europe and a move is possible, though the player claims he is happy at AC Milan. Averaging 1.4 tackles, 1 interception, and 2.2 clearances every league game, which has shown he is a player a coach can rely on.

With Saed Kolasinac and Nacho Monreal out due to injury, Arsenal are looking for a quality left back to fill in their spot. The Gunners have targeted Rodriguez and believe that they can submit an offer to tempt Milan into selling their main left back. Reports claim that Milan have already rejected a bid of €30 million from Arsenal for the defender, but a little extra money could be enough to convince Leonardo to let go of the player.

Rodriguez is happy at Milan, despite having good offers on the table.

In France, PSG are concerned as they only have one left back for the upcoming season. The club believe he has what it takes to play in a huge club in France and all of Europe. As the Parisians challenge for a Champions League and another Ligue 1 title, they want to reinforce the defense with someone that can attack and defend flawlessly. Reports claim that Rodriguez himself has turned down an offer from PSG, but it is possible the French champions can submit another offer with more money involved, which might be just enough to convince the player to move to the French capital.

Frank Kessie

Kessie is a young star who has proved himself as a quality player.

Kessie has been a key player in Gennaro Gattuso’s squad, a rock in the midfield that can defend and attack. In 37 league appearances, the Ivorian scored 5 goals and gave 3 assists. He also averages 1.2 key passes per game, these stats show he can be a game changer. The 21-year-old only cost Milan €20 million and has proved himself to be a quality midfielder. The Rossoneri have received an offer worth €40 million, double of what they bought him for, from the Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Having recently inquired about Andre Silva, Wolverhampton are looking for more quality signings to help them in their Premier League campaign. They are looking for a talented and young midfielder to play alongside Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves, forming a strong midfield that can compete in England’s top flight.

Wolves have a tough season ahead of them, they think Kessie could help them do well in the league.

Milan have a good amount of midfielders, but Kessie’s quality is difficult to be matched. The Coppa Italia finalists aren’t too open to selling the player as they plan to qualify for next season’s Champions League, needing as much help as they can get.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

Savic has been monitored by top clubs across Europe.

Milinkovic-Savic has been one of the most talked about player’s this transfer window. Manchester United, Milan, Juventus, and Real Madrid are just some of the teams interested in the player. A bid war was expected to begin over the player, until Lazio president Lotito put a price tag of €150 million.

Since then Milan have been looking for ways to convince Lazio to let go of one of their star men go. An offer of €120 million was almost officially submitted until Leonardo gave up on the player and labelled it “impossible” to successfully sign the central midfielder.

Adrien Rabiot

Rabiot has had a great season, winning 4 trophies.

Rabiot had a great season and has established himself as a world class defensive midfielder, being a key player in PSG’s squad. He is known for his amazing ability to intercept and score some goals.

Leonardo could contact Rabiot’s agent (also his mother) in the coming days. PSG are willing to offer the 23-year-old a contract worth €10 million an year, which is an obstacle for Milan. Leonardo needs something special to convince the midfielder to turn down the big money contract and move to Italy instead.
