Rossoneri Round-up for 3 August: Gustavo Gomez joins Palmeiras in Brazil

Gustavo Gomez has officially left Milan, and he’s signed with Palmeiras in Brazil on a one-year loan.

The Argentine defender did not have a future at Milan, as he played only 10 minutes last year after a disappointing 2016-17 campaign. He joined Milan from Lanús in the summer of 2016, but he never really seemed to fit in.

He’ll get a chance to impress back in South America. Hopefully it works out for him.
