Ricardo Rodriguez’s agent said that the left back has started a “rebirth” at Milan with the new management at the club. He also said the team felt more “united” under Leonardo and Maldini. He also said that the addition of Diego Laxalt didn’t mean that Rodriguez’s position was under threat and that Napoli shouldn’t be underestimated.

Rodriguez’s agent, Gianluca Di Domenico, told Radio CRC:

This Milan is giving him a rebirth, even if Ricardo also had a strong rapport with the previous directors.

Diego Laxalt’s arrival doesn’t change anything, as it’s only right a big club like Milan seeks several players in the same role. Ricardo can play in a three-man defence, with Laxalt wide on the left, or four at the back with the Uruguayan in a more advanced position.

Now the squad is more united and feels strong, so they’ll make it difficult for Napoli this weekend. I find it strange that Napoli aren’t considered a top European club. We might not see Maurizio Sarri’s champagne football, but it will be a more practical and efficient side under Carlo Ancelotti
