Gonzalo Higuain has confirmed that he’s joining Milan today.

He reportedly told reporters about his move as he checked into a hotel in Milan, saying,

First I’ll sign and then I’ll talk. I’ll have my medical tomorrow and then I hope to sign.

I’m starting a new adventure. I wish to greet to all the [Milan] fans and also the Juventus ones who gave me so much love.

Leonardo convinced me. I’ve already talked to Gattuso. I’m here to go as far as possible.

So Leonardo has already proven to be a better General Manager, Director of Football, or whatever else they wish to call his position, than Massimiliano Mirabelli. Leonardo has gone out and recruited some pretty big names so far, even while dealing with budget constraints and FFP rules. Looks like Elliott Management might know what they are doing.

On to the links.
