The Milan players returned to training today, with a new face, getting ready for the new season ahead.

Per the club’s official website, the training included:

The whole group was on the pitch by 5.30 PM. The Rossoneri started the session with a muscular awakening routine based on running and stretching exercises. Then, the boys continued to work on athletics: running on the side of the pitch followed by sprints. As per Bakayoko, the French player underwent personalised drills and then joined the rest of the team to focus on tactics and technique. The group was split into two teams to work on ball possession and finally played a practice match. Lastly, the lads concluded the session with a stretching routine.

All standard stuff, of course, but it means that the season opener is only a few days away.
