Well, a lot of the talk on social media today was if the deal to send Manuel Locatelli to Sassuolo was a good idea or not, if he had been given enough chances at the club, etc.

However, Patrick Cutrone had a different perspective on the move.

Cutrone said on Instagram, “Teammate and life partner for 10 years! I will miss you so much and good luck for your new adventure my brother! I love you! #brother”

We sometimes forget that players are real people, with emotions and friendships, and they’re not just robots who kick the ball around the pitch for our amusement. Sorry to see that Cutrone will miss his friend, but it’s football, right?

On to the links.
