Milan will take on some competition from England in the International Champions Cup later today in Minneapolis, MN. Tottenham Hotspur, or Spurs as they are known, will be playing their second Serie A team in the United States this summer, as they already played AS Roma, beating them 4-1 in a match played in San Diego.

Spurs have also played Milan’s next opponent, Barcelona, last Saturday in Los Angeles. Spurs lost on penalty kicks, just as Milan did against Manchester United last week. Spurs will be looking to end their ICC matches on a high note with a win, but Milan will also be looking to rebound from a loss to Manchester United.

Spurs have been hit with a few injury problems in the preseason, so don’t expect to see a full-strength squad. Likewise, most of the World Cup stars for Spurs (namely Harry Kane) will not be available for selection. You’ll likely get to see former Juventus player Fernando Llorente lead the line for Spurs.

As for Milan, it’s still preseason, so expect to see a similar line-up to the team that faced Manchester United. It will be interesting to see if Leonardo Bonucci is involved in the match, as it stands right now, he may or may not be on his way back to Juventus. If he doesn’t even match the bench, then the deal is almost certainly going to go through.
