While rumors surround a deal for a few other defenders, it looks like Gustavo Gomez could still be leaving Milan, but not to return to his native Argentina.

A deal that would have seen Gomez return to Argentina with Boca Juniors looked to be done and completed, only for Gomez and his agent to refuse personal terms after the Buenos Aries club reportedly changed some terms at the last minute.

It’s now being reported that Cagliari are interested in the defender, who had a rather disappointing season for Milan last year. Gomez doesn’t have a future at Milan, so any deal for him to leave is best for everyone involved.

On to the links.
