Gordon Singer, son of the founder of Elliott Management, will be coming to Milan this week to meet with the brass of club.

The younger Singer will reportedly be meeting with Leonardo and the president of Milan, Scaroni, although it’s not known what he will be talking with them about.

The subject of UEFA’s punishment will likely come up, as well as some updates on the financing of the transfer market. Here’s hoping that Singer isn’t going to tell the club to save money or splash cold water on any transfer plans.

Anyway, these meetings tend to get more attention than they should, after all, business can still get done over the phone, email or skype. Maybe Gordon wants to go to Milan on vacation and will just stop by for a quick meeting so it can be chalked up as a business expense.

On to the links.
