The 28 players that will be on the US tour was announced over the weekend. Most of the names that are on the list were expected, with a few exceptions.

First, Nikola Kalinic being included was a surprise, as a move to Sevilla or Atlético Madrid is rumored to be all but completed for the Croatia striker. His time at Milan has not been pleasant and it’ll be surprising or him to see a lot of playing time.

Manuel Locatelli and Andrea Bertolacci also look to be surprise additions to the squad. Both have been rumored to be on their way out, although perhaps this is seen as a chance for either one of them to impress Gennaro Gattuso enough to be included in the season’s plan with the club.

Carlos Bacca and Riccardo Montolivo were both left off the roster that traveled to the US. Montolivo is reportedly not in the plans of Gattuso next season, and Bacca’s departure is almost certainly guaranteed at this point, after he was not acknowledged by the club’s Twitter page during his time with the Columbia national team at the World Cup.

So if you’re a US based fan of Milan, what do you think about the roster? Anyone you’re disappointed at not seeing? Anyone you’re looking forward to seeing?
